About the Project

PwC Tower is designed to LEED Gold standards and to be a leader in green office tower design in Toronto. It will form a gateway to the city’s financial district and meeting Toronto Green Standards to bring density into the downtown core. The tower’s high performance glazing system with maximum-scaled glass panels simultaneously minimizes thermal bridging conditions, optimizes daylight transmission and achieves a pure geometry of architectural form and expression. Some of the sustainable features include a rain water collection system, Enwave's deep lake central cooling supplemented by a thermal storage system, 18" raised access floor system, enhanced indoor air quality, and automated roller shading systems. The base of the tower is a three-storey podium which provides direct access to public transit, and to a rooftop green terrace with indigenous landscaping based on the boreal forest. Every floor of the tower provides a column-free plan for a maximum flexibility.
